MotoService Privacy Policy

Strangemunkey Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the MotoService mobile app ("the App"). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and your choices.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple or via email magic link, we receive your email address and a unique user ID (via Supabase, our authentication provider) to identify your account.

Garage and service data. Information you enter about your bikes — names, makes, models, mileage, service history, photos, and notes — is stored on your device. If you generate a buyer transfer code, that bike's data is temporarily stored on our servers (Supabase) so the buyer can import it.

AI Mechanic conversations. Questions you ask the AI Mechanic, along with relevant bike details (make, model, mileage) and your selected region, are sent to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate a response. We do not use these conversations to train AI models.

Subscription information. If you purchase MotoService Premium, purchase and subscription status is managed by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. We do not receive your payment card details.

Push notification token. If you enable notifications, your device registers for push notifications via Apple's Push Notification service.

How We Use Information

  • To provide and maintain the App's features (garage tracking, AI Mechanic, PDF export, transfer codes)
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To send maintenance reminders if you've enabled notifications

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the App:

  • Supabase — authentication and transfer code storage
  • Anthropic — processes AI Mechanic questions to generate responses
  • RevenueCat and Apple — subscription and purchase management

Data Retention

Garage and service data is stored locally on your device. Transfer codes expire and are not retained indefinitely on our servers. You can delete your account data by contacting us at the email below.

Your Rights

You can request access to, or deletion of, your account data at any time by emailing info@strangemunkey.com.

Children's Privacy

MotoService is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
