Moto Rush Privacy Policy

Moto Rush Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Strangemunkey Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the Moto Rush mobile game ("the Game"). This policy explains what information the Game collects, how it's used, and your choices.

Moto Rush has no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress stays on your device. The only information that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising service needs in order to show you ads — and in the UK and Europe, that only happens if you agree to it first.

Information We Collect

Game progress. Your best distance, coin balance, which bikes you've unlocked, the bike you've selected and your sound settings are saved on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. This never reaches us. We operate no servers for the Game and hold no copy of your progress. Deleting the Game deletes all of it permanently — there is no backup and no way for us to restore it.

Advertising data. The Game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: a rewarded video you can choose to watch to continue a run, and an occasional full-screen ad between runs. To deliver these, Google's advertising SDK processes your device advertising identifier (IDFA, or a non-permanent identifier if you decline tracking), your IP address, your device type, operating system version and language, and whether an ad was shown, viewed or tapped.

Consent choices. Your answers to the privacy prompts are stored on your device by Google's consent SDK so you aren't asked again on every launch.

Purchase status. If you buy an in-app item, Apple tells the Game that the purchase completed so the content can unlock. We never receive your name, card details, billing address or Apple Account.

How We Use Information

  • To save and restore your progress on your own device
  • To show ads, which is what allows the Game to be free to play
  • To unlock content you have paid for

Advertising and Your Choices

Google acts as an independent controller for the advertising data described above. Its handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy, and you can see how Google uses data from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, a consent form appears the first time you open the Game. You can consent, decline, or set your preferences purpose by purpose. You can change your mind at any time using the Privacy Options link on the Game's main menu.

On iOS, Apple separately asks whether you allow tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Declining does not remove ads — it makes them less relevant. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

If you decline consent, we do not serve personalised ads to you. Ads may still appear, selected using only general context rather than anything about you.

Legal Bases

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR we rely on:

  • Consent — for personalised advertising and for storing or accessing information on your device for advertising purposes. You may withdraw it at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — for non-personalised ads and for basic fraud and invalid-traffic prevention, which is what makes it viable to offer the Game free of charge.
  • Contract — for delivering an in-app purchase you have made.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the Game:

  • Google — ad delivery, measurement and consent management
  • Apple — in-app purchase processing

Data Retention

Game progress is stored locally on your device and is deleted when you delete the Game. We hold no personal data ourselves, so we have nothing to retain or erase on our side. Advertising data processed by Google is retained according to Google's own published retention periods.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because we hold no personal data for this Game, requests relating to advertising data should be directed to Google. You can contact us about this policy at info@strangemunkey.com, and you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

International Transfers

Google may process advertising data outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States, relying on the transfer mechanisms described in its own privacy documentation.

Children's Privacy

Moto Rush is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where a change affects consent, you will be asked again inside the Game.

Impress. Yourself.

StrangeMunkey was built on UK roads — damp B-roads, industrial estates,
early starts and short riding seasons.

It came from a simple idea:

Motorcycling doesn’t need theatrics.
Not everything needs to be louder, faster, or seen.
Not every ride needs an audience.
Sometimes it’s enough to ride well, enjoy the machine, and hold your own
standard.

Industrial Rider Standard

StrangeMunkey is for riders who’ve moved past performance culture but
still care about how things are built, how they feel, and how they last.
The approach is straightforward:
Heavyweight fabrics.
Clean insignia.
Muted workshop tones.
No oversized graphics.
No noise.
Clothing designed to feel like it belongs in a working garage — not a
fashion cycle.

Built to wear in, not wear out.

 Built for UK Riding
Riding here isn’t always dramatic.
It’s tighter roads.
Unpredictable weather.
Limited windows to get out.
It rewards composure more than spectacle.
StrangeMunkey reflects that.
Less drama.
More intention.
Mechanical honesty over performance.
This isn’t about rebellion.
It isn’t nostalgia.
It isn’t a statement for anyone else. It’s about riding for your own reasons — and being comfortable with
that.
If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
